Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Harper makes learning financial accounting extremely fun and he really wants you to succeed! Even if you're not an accounting major, which is more than likely, he tries really hard to ensure that you're understanding what he's teaching and that you can pass the class with no problems.

    Course highlights:

Professor Harper uses TopHot that really helps you understand the material, and it helps you get more points in his class. Almost all of his quizzes are group quizzes, in my class a few of them became class quizzes - and he walks around and helps you. I learned more about accounting rules and such that I had learned before but in a way that made more sense.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't slack off! If you really don't understand a concept, don't be afraid to ask questions. Do your connect homework too, even if you don't do well chances are the grade will be pass/fail, but it really helps you when you're getting ready for an exam.

I would recommend it! It's fun, challenging, and overall can help your understanding of the real world.

    Course highlights:

I learned how many businesses operate and how their financial systems work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. This class is fun, but challenging.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Miller really takes the time to make sure students understand what she is teaching, and also listens to requests and concerns of students.

    Course highlights:

I gained a deeper understanding of managerial accounting, which is a subject I used to hate. With Professor Miller's help, I now can understand and appreciate the subject.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course, make sure you read and take notes! You will have some online quizzes and homework, but most of the time the in-class assignments and quizzes do not allow you to use notes. Formula memorization is key!
