    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's usually required for majors, but this course is very interesting nonetheless. If you were interested in biology and science in high school, it is basically that but much more advanced and more information.

    Course highlights:

Professor Cymbola kept things interesting even when the lecture might've been boring that day. She was funny. But content-wise, I learned a lot about cells and the way the body works that I didn't know before. For example, the way hormones work for a girls period or the way contractions work during pregnancy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY HARD! I did not study as hard as I should've and I wish I would've because it was important and definitely something I was interested in.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is an explosion of information, but it's a requirement for any science major

    Course highlights:

You learn just about every general biology topic there is to know. It's fast paced and a ton of information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take a three hour lecture. Take a lecture that meets three times a week.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very difficult class that will require a lot of time outside of class to do well. You will need to study well in advance and take good notes. It is very important to find a professor that has good reviews because the class is difficult and you need someone who can teach it well.

    Course highlights:

I learned very detailed information. Some highlights were being able to see the notes projected and the professor writing her notes at the same time so we have more information than just the basics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students that they need to show up to class and not skip. It is important to pay attention, take good notes and study them as much as you are able to. Ask questions if you don't understand because most times there are other students who don't understand as well.
