    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because foreign language is an important skill to use in the modern world. It is better to go beyond elementary level to at least an intermediate level because the courses are taught in Spanish which is what really forces you to learn it. The classwork was pretty fun and the homework was very helpful, though there was a lot of it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were definitely watching movies and giving presentations is Spanish. It could be pretty funny but cool to hear other people who are still learning the language to practice speaking. Also, having a Mexican professor made it better because she could tell us things that you would encounter in Mexico.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give for this course is to practice Spanish with other students outside the classroom because time in the classroom is not enough. Make sure to give yourself enough time for the homework because it does pile up on top of your other courses.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was helpful, the course was interesting review of grammar.

    Course highlights:

I was able to review many different verb tenses and Spanish grammar. I also learned more about Spanish culture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, study for the exams, and prepare for the in-class debates to ensure you receive all of the points.
