Course Overview:
Even though Calc 3 sounds rather tough, Professor Hindeleh used various methods to explain the topics in the course. He drew pictures, used analogies, and even performed computer simulations to help our understanding. The professor also wouldn't move on to the next chapter until all of his students knew the concepts. He truly cared about their learning.
Course highlights:
Most of the course was spent finding the surface area of 3D shapes. Also, Calc 3 brought together a lot of the topics covered from the previous Calc classes such as using derivatives and integrals and also riemann sums.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Even though the class may seem easy given the multiple examples of the course topics, it is still a good idea to study. More advice would be to memorize the steps on how to differentiate and integrate formulas.
