    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very rushed and not her strong suit. She is a science teacher but this wasn't her focus so I feel the class suffered for it.

    Course highlights:

You go over a lot of material. From humans to animals to cells to the environment. You use every single chapter of the textbook.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the book and use it, all the basic are in there and simple to study off of.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course because the professor shows a fun yet learning experience.

    Course highlights:

I learned about different parts of the human body and how some animals have the same structures as humans.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should be prepared to learn all the walks of life of biology and be interactive with certain topics during lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is essential for college students to be aware of the life around them everyday.

    Course highlights:

The most beautiful concept I learned in BIO 131 was the levels of organization of living things. You start with the smallest particle, an atom, and move onto something much larger, the biosphere.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students must dedicate plenty of time to this course. The easiest way to do so is finding something in the broad subject of biology that interests them so that they may willingly study.
