    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class only to students that are interested in pursing a career in the medical field. This class is a weed-out class. It is very difficult, but it challenges you to do your best and it prepares you for future Biology classes. The professors are fun and very understanding. Because of the small class sizes, questions are encouraged. The professors truly want you to succeed in their class. Their doors are always open!

    Course highlights:

There was a lot of information and memorization in Biology 115. This class really taught me how to study. The lab is a big part of your grade. You learn about the parts of a pig and what each part does in the lecture. The lab was a great first step toward wanting to become a veterinarian.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

ASK QUESTIONS! Get a biology tutor that can explain things to you from a students perspective. Study the lecture by yourself, and study the lab and the parts of the pig with other people. Read the chapter before class, and study the notes after class. Study every day and quiz yourself as much as you can. Creating a relationship with your professor is a great idea in all classes.
