Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is not an easy A type of class. Expect to have a lot of homework practically after every class. However with the amazing help from Anna Cox you can go from a person who hates math to someone who enjoys learning about parabolas. The best part about this class was Anna. At any time you can email her and almost immediately she'll give you a response. Regardless if it's 1:30 in the morning.

    Course highlights:

During class time you will typically learn by working through the problems on the board. However, the lectures for the class are online. These I would say are the most helpful. If you did not understand something in class you can go online and relearn how to solve the problem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't particularly like math I would take it with Anna. She is kind, understanding, and always willing to help! I've learned the most I ever have involving math all because Anna is an amazing instructor.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Pat is a great instructor! She is devoted to each student's success and is very in tune to making sure every student understands the material!

    Course highlights:

Besides learning basic math concepts, Pat teaches how math will be used outside of the classroom. My favorite part of this course was learning about how to estimate mortgage payments!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on homework so you don't fall behind!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is focused on the basic Algebra needed in all medical fields. It was presented in such a way that I as an older student did not feel overwhelmed.

    Course highlights:

I learned to calculate dosages of medicine. I especially like the end project that put everything you learned into practice.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to take notes on the problems. Ask if you don't understand what to do.
