Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor is great! Having taken an Accounting class in high school made it fairly easy up until midterm. That's when I started learning new things. Still not very difficult, though.

    Course highlights:

I reviewed the accounting cycle, journalizing, posting, making adjusting and closing entries, and will be starting to learn payroll here in a couple weeks.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In this specific course with this teacher (Papke) start the "Friend's Tire Shop" practice set early, as soon as you know enough material. And STAY AHEAD!!!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was my first step into accounting and the teacher made it worthwhile and explained everything thoroughly. His class was led by and interesting discussion everyday. He made the class interactive and allowed us to be hands on while we were learning the material.

    Course highlights:

I think the highlights of this course were just feeling like you learned something everyday in class. I never missed a class because I felt like I would miss something huge. Some classes where you go and learn nothing just seem like a waste of time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to make sure you go to class and make sure that you pay attention. There is a large project type assignment but there are deadlines that make sure you don't procrastinate as long as you keep up the deadlines you will have no problems.
