Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The prof. was fantastic and truly helped me succeed in this class.

    Course highlights:

This is a great intro course into calculus and helped me prepare for calc-II.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Much background knowledge is required to be proficient in this course; but, if you know pre-calc, you should be fine.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

His mind does not stay on one thing while lecturing.

Very strange bird. Hard to learn anything from him.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The teacher used clickers to enforce class participation.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course simply because the professor wants you to be challenged and wants you to succeed. I don't believe that I'd have university any different than the way he teaches.

    Course highlights:

I learned that in order to succeed that one has to be persistent, hard-working, and obsessed with being challenged. Without being challenged, there's no will or drive to succeed. The highlight of this course was mainly the way the course was taught.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Meet with the professor during office hours, create study groups, and enjoy the course as difficult as it may seem.
