    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I never learned 3D modeling before and now I know how to use a CAD program and how to use it in my engineering field by making parts ranging from nuts and bolts to fully designed leaf blowers.

    Course highlights:

I used the CAD program called Seimens NX 11.0 in Mr. Eddy's class and I was one of his slowest students but Mr. Eddy never got mad, he would come and help me out whenever he was able and helped me to fully understand the software and what went wrong.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the teacher if you ever need help and play with the program and you might learn something you never knew before.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You're basically expected to have prior knowledge of CAD programs. Luckily I had some exposure to AutoCAD in high school, but for the students who were strangers to CAD, they struggled because the professor does an immensely poor job of explaining the basics of NX. The students who came in with proficient knowledge of NX had a really easy time and justifiably skipped lectures.

    Course highlights:

I didn't learn anything from the professor. I learned NX outside of class hours thanks to my friends who had learned NX during high school. The highlight of the class was when the professor showed us his YouTube channel full of videos devoted to weapons.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

There's a cumbersome final project which involves using NX to model an object. I'd recommend you make responsible friends early into the semester because you'll need to rely on them for the group project.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who enjoys modeling in NX.

    Course highlights:

I would say the highlight to this course was the final project. I learned how to model successfully in NX.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There's a lot of homework for this course but its very easy.
