    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking this course because of Professor Kanchi. However, it is a required course for CS majors and Kanchi is the only one that teaches it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of any programming course are seeing your hard work pay off and watching your program function properly.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

While I would not recommend taking this course with Kanchi, I believe that she is the only teacher that teaches it. My advice is to start all projects and labs as early as possible. Kanchi is a pretty hard grader on specific things like comments in your code. You can never have too many comments with her class. Do not put too much effort into the lectures as she just reads off the slides and does not explain much. Focus your time on the assignments and labs. Do the study guides, many of the exam questions are the same as the study guide.
