    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The Professor was very caring and wanted to make sure everyone is keeping up with what he is teaching. He also wants to make sure we are all understanding the lecture so he stops and makes sure we are all still awake and still following along

    Course highlights:

We learn so much about the new testament and the gospels. We went into depth of the gospels on who wrote them, to who, where, and the difference between the four of them, which surprisingly is not a lot. One of the highlights would be the great class discussions on all the different books of the new testament because we are able to go really far into depth and has amazing theological discussions on the book of the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

One big thing I would stress is that the papers will not be easy at first and that is normal. The papers are going to be confusing and it's going to take a long time to write and research. But, once you get the first paper back and you know what he is looking for, the entire class gets so much easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Kroeze is a fantastic professor! He is engaging, enthusiastic, and clear with his course material. Also, his quizzes can be retaken, so that's a plus.

    Course highlights:

I really appreciate Kroeze stomping on the floor to make a point when he gets really excited. His joy towards the content he shares makes everyone in the room interested too, even if it's only pictures of landscapes in ancient Israel.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The quizzes may be fairly easy, but you do REALLY have to study for the exams. You can't retake those, that's for sure! And they cover a lot of content. It may be interesting, but it is still a lot of information to remember, so give yourself time to prepare, especially for the essay questions.
