    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The couse itself is pretty easy, but Prof Henderson is a pain. She is rude, she is nosey, and she has strong favoritism. If you aren't her favorite, you're screwed. She tries to be kind to everyone and be a motivator but it doesn't work. She cried once in my class because "she cares too much," by the way. Also, she assigns a lot of work but then didn't grade over a third of it, so be prepared for that.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of good techniques on writing speeches, speech format, and being confident in front of an audience, which are all very important in the future. I also learned good tongue twisters and diction exercises so I could even improve my daily speech, as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you read the book and that you come to class every single time. She does pop quizzes in class sometimes and you cannot make them up. She also grades participation based on attendance. Do your speeches and don't be afraid to ask for help. The speech reflections from 4-8 were not graded, so I would not worry about doing them honestly. If she says that she is going to grade, though, then do them, because they are easy and only about a page.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it teaches you the valuable skill of public speaking. Mrs. Henderson is very passionate and can help everyone improve

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of why good public speaking is necessary. I also learned how to effectively speak and be successful speaking in front of crowds.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to do a lot of work out of class. Nothing is too difficult but all of the work is out of class

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is so unique! Its fascinating to learn about relationships and communication in the way that Bruce teaches it. Almost everything in this class is related to our life. If you are looking to improve your communication this class can do wonders for you.

    Course highlights:

We all know that relationships can help one live longer. But most people dont really don't know why. This class gives you a little insight on that. You learn about interpersonal relationships and how talking face to face has so much more benefits then texting, calling, emailing, etc. You see facial expressions, you hear remarks, and - depending on the interpersonal relationship - you can touch. These three things can do wonders in ones life. The more interpersonal relationships you have the happier you will be. You are able to share hard topics and trust the individual to not to harm with the information.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Everything you learn is in class. The reason why I was able to learn so much was because I enjoyed the class and wanted to better my communication. Not a very hard class but very informative and can help you in life.
