    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this class! There was far too much work for a pre-calculus class. We not only had homework assignments, and exams, there was also discussions every week, 5 writing assignments, and Kahn Academy homework. It was just too much.

    Course highlights:

I did learn about logarithms, and I got a 4.0 in the class. It was just very difficult.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the homework! Do the assignments everyday, not the day they're due.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Tristin was a difficult professor to figure out. He tries to be young and hip and incorporates that into his teaching style. But he doesn't do a very good job at actually conveying the material clearly. If you take this class with him, as I and many others had to, you will have to help teach yourself out of the book, because he glosses over important topics.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to teach myself, and needed mechanics to move forward in mathematics.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you can learn on your own from a book, otherwise you will fall behind when important topics come up on tests that weren't gone over in class.
