    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is required for many students. Economics is an interesting class where you can learn about the conditions of material prosperity in a region. Derek Berry is a very good instructor. He makes this class easy to understand and has a welcoming classroom environment; both needed for optimal learning.

    Course highlights:

I have learned that people respond to incentives. I have learned that nothing is every truly free; there is always some opportunity costs included. I have learned about how trade and competition in the world works. The highlight of this course is the gained knowledge I did receive on how the world works better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I am a good listener and I am a good student overall. When you have questions on the provided material make sure you ask the instructor. Be sure to take detailed notes and highlight whatever the instructor stresses in the class. Organization is key in the way that I study. Never leave the classroom uncertain with a subject.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a pretty hard course towards the end of the semester and she didn't provide the ISBN for the book in the beginning so I had the wrong book the whole time and had to ask another student to help me out, that took a few weeks but I guess its my fault for not paying better attention.

    Course highlights:

A LOT ABOUT THE ECONOMY, honestly I hate Economics.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY STUDY STUDY take notes on the chapters and always take the practice exams.!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well, he was a difficult teacher to follow, but I got a B in both his 231 and 232 class. I did not like the idea of the reading assignments.

    Course highlights:

To be absolutely honest, I enjoyed his class because he would talk about interesting things, but the course work was a little hard.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! Read the book sometimes, but definitely pay attention to his notes. You can not use a laptop or any electronic devices in his class.
