Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches about America's struggles and victories as a nation. America was not the strong independent country that it is today. Many people do not realize this.

    Course highlights:

I learned more in depth details about the Revolutionary War and about Britain's side of the story. Britain had many bad kings that pushed the colonies into rebellion. The class taught me that there is more than one side to a story.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that they do not procrastinate on the homework assignments. I would also recommend that the student takes really good, detailed notes during the lecture. This will help with the exams and quizzes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

As far as the professor goes, he is a very intelligent and understanding man. His lectures tend to be long and derail somewhat but he makes the information seem a lot more interesting

    Course highlights:

My favorite unit was learning about pop culture in the 1950s. As a big fan of art and music this was the only part of the course I effectively learned the information and was interested in it. However this does not reflect his teaching, just my personal preference.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Write down significant events and names of people and what they did. The study guides were a bit confusing for me, though no one else in the class seemed to have the problem I did. But you can't go wrong with taking your own notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. McGee was my dual enrollment teacher. He is an excellent teacher that loves history which makes his students love teacher.

    Course highlights:

I gained a greater understanding of history. For years, I believed certain things to be accurate that were not. This course was in depth and made me dig deeper to understand what people before us endured and accomplished.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest to always be in class and take good notes.
