Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Our professor is fantastic because he makes sure you understand the material and goes over example during class. He also switches up the leaning methods through giving us group work, ungraded work, practice exam questions, lectures, and whiteboard problems. He is very nice and prepares you for the exams if you ask questions in class and pay attention to his lessons. If you are struggling he is more than willing to help you our and his office is in the same build as the class. The only downside is he does make small errors when presenting information so, be on your guard. Although, really the only reason you would do poorly in the class is if you sherk homework and avoid asking for clarification on confusion subjects.

    Course highlights:

I love the group of people I worked with we all wanted to learn so the work was evenly distributed. John is extremely polite and definitely has a sense of humor. In all, though the class itself was a highlight because I truly learned in the classroom and enjoyed being there.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention, do the work and ask questions every class. Unless you really don't try you can get an A.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Calculus is a very important subject to learn and if you need to use calculus then it will most likely be a required class to take that is a prerequisite to Calculus 2 and Calculus 3. For me, it was more interesting than Geometry or Algebra, while also being much more difficult.

    Course highlights:

I knew nothing about Calculus before taking this class since I never had any sort of Pre-Calculus class. I had to put in a lot of effort but now I feel ready for Calculus 2.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Getting a Math Learning Center appointment helped a lot because you get a coach that dedicates half an hour or an hour to you each week and can help you learn something that you didn't understand in class or just review topics that are difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very good structure for students just learning calculus.

    Course highlights:

Learned basic calculus concepts such as limits, derivatives, and integrals.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, do the homework, ask any and all questions that you have because others probably are wondering the same thing.
