Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He kept class fun and new. even if lecture was three hours long! He graded fairly and his exams were straight from the material learned from class.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the labs. We learned many different hands on procedures.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, go to class, go to labs, and make sure to know the best way you study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because of the structure and procedures it is built on by the professor. He tells us how it is and doesn't sugar coat anything. The content and information of the class is relevant to the course as well as the connections made to real life situations.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the various labs that were assigned. From testing pH to the use of dialysis tubing to observe the theory of osmosis, the labs were my favorite part of the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend attending the student instructor study sessions. With the help of a student who had completed the course in the previous semester, the ability of that individual to answer questions that we had outside of class or teach us the material in a different way was a huge help. Also to print out the slides for that chapter was helpful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ryan Dziedzic was really personable and funny, he approached Biology with so much passion and it definitely showed. If you love Biology, birds and a good laugh this is the class for you.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about photosynthesis, meiosis, mitosis, and all the nitty- gritty of Biology. There were lab days and lecture days, the labs were always very interesting and a large portion was over pond water.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes, study, take advantage of tutoring and study groups, always ask questions and listen to everything he says. Sometimes what seems random to you will be on the test, so pay attention and enjoy it.
