    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Janet is a wonderful teacher but tends to be hypocritical at times and confusing.

    Course highlights:

    I learned great analytical skills

    Ask for help. I am aware that it is your paper and views, yet with this teacher unless hers are in there to your score may go down.

    Course Overview:

    This course allowed me to learn about rhetorical appeals and how to apply them in any situation. I believe that everyone who is able, should learn how to properly apply rhetoric in their lives so that they may better understand how it is used to communicate and persuade to an audiences in everyday life.

    Course highlights:

    I feel that I gained a helpful insight into how people formulate arguments in order to persuade a specific audience. Learning how this is done allowed me to better understand why many forms of communication are tailored the way they are.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    My advice for taking this course is to read all the material that the teacher provides, and annotate over it to have the information better ingrained in your memory.

    I loved this class. Professor Owens had a lot of interesting stories and made the subject interesting. There was a lot of reading and papers but in the end everything related to the material and was worth taking

    I learned grammar again for the 8th time and

    Take it. Owens is the funniest professor at NMC.
