    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's really easy! Easier than AP Lang, which I took last year. I wish I could have tested out of this one because it's been a breeze and sometimes it feels like a waste of time, but I know I'll learn something from it! Just gotta keep trucking away. Sarah is a really nice professor!

    Course highlights:

I'm still working on it but so far I've sharpened my rhetorical analysis writing techniques and argumentative techniques. I've learned reading skills, there's a lot of reading in this class, which I actually didn't expect!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do the extra credit assignments. Even though I have a good grade in the class and don't necessarily "need" them, I personally think that everyone can benefit from extra credit even if they have 100%... it's just nice to have it there in case you ever need it.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course helped me develop my writing skills.

    Course highlights:

The weekly short story assignments were a fun way to be creative and expressive. I learned essay and story composition in depth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always use the professor's knowledge during office hours. The extra help and clarification can really further your development. The writing center is a great way to get edits and different perspectives from students.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would most definitely reccommend taking English 112 with professor Wilson. He's very reasonable and allows you to redo your essays as many times as you want, so you have no reason to fail.

    Course highlights:

I have learned that I need to condense my words and be able to effectively communicate what I am saying and to be able to write in various different styles using one particular method and approach. In my particular case, writing is a gradual process, and I look forward to continuing to grow in composing assignments more effectively. I have observed that I can write an effective paper but it may take me longer to fully process what I will be discussing and how I can best tackle it. This class has shown me that I fully understand the layout of a well written paper but that I still have room to grow in using that understanding to write papers with eloquence and even more structure in the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My first piece of advice to you for this class is to read the syllabus thoroughly. Reading the syllabus from start to finish will give you an idea on how much work is ahead for you. My second piece of advice is to make sure you keep yourself organized and do not wait until the last minute to do your assignments. Give yourself time to do the reading and to complete the assignments so you will not feel overwhelmed. I guarantee that this course will sincerely test you writing ability. I must admit that coming into this course, I thought I would sail right through it with little effort. However, this class has made me realize that good writers can always further improve and finely tune their writing skills.
