    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's a lot of good information to know, and you get to learn about yourself in the process. Not only is psychology incredibly interesting, but the knowledge you gain you can apply to yourself.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about what makes people do what they do and why they do what they do. I learned a bit about developmental psych and how what happens as you develop affects you as an adult and that's pretty cool

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your terms and "open your mind"! This stuff is really cool and worth the 20 minutes it takes to make sure you remember which part of the brain does what.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Psychology gives us the basic understanding of how and why people behave the way they do. Regardless of whether one is entering into the psychology field or not, it is important to understand how we can more effectively communicate and react to others.

    Course highlights:

I learned what motivates individuals to behave in certain ways given certain situations. For example, individuals' environment, upbringing, and sense of self can majorly influence how they react in certain situations. I gained a better understanding and patience for people who may respond differently and for people with opposing beliefs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

While this course can give you much more than just technical terms, the technical part of the course may be slightly confusing. There are a lot of new terms and definitions that you will have to memorize. Making flashcards and having a friend or family member quiz you may be a big help. Hand writing notes and copying them down several times also helped me in a large way.
