Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Michelle knows how to teach the class in a way that opens your mind and makes you think. She makes information easy to understand and provides examples to help you remember everything. Each class period, she does a lecture on the assigned chapter, incorporates an activity, and shows a documentary related to the material. Her exams are oral, which made me nervous at first but I found them laid-back and better than a written exam. She also wouldn't put anything on the exam that we haven't gone over in lecture. I would recommend her course to anyone interested in Sociology!

    Course highlights:

The first half of the semester focuses on the basic ideas of sociology, including functionalism, conflict theory, symbolic interactionism, and methods of experimenting. The second half of the semester we dug deeper into topics such as the ideas of feminism, gender expression, capitalism, economic and social statuses, child development, and cultural differences.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook is needed and is helpful. Flashcards helped me pass this course as well.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because Mr.Lake is an awesome teacher. He is so great and patient with his students. He don't mind going back over the material is someone is not having trouble understanding the curriculum. His handouts and PowerPoint are very useful for tests and quizzes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights about this class was learning how people in our world are. The economy. Racial standards and the way the system works. Every chapter was more and more interesting and it became a fun class to attend.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a great class and an easy A. You would love this class it is so fun and entertaining.
