    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

the two professors give very detailed lectures where you learn more about the stem field and get a feel for what your major is about and you can discover whether this is the career you want to continue to pursue.

    Course highlights:

I really love Watt's lectures because they're always clear and concise. Even though it takes a while to get used to Herrera's lectures, he gives you very realistic examples of when you can apply the concepts you've learned in class to your actual studies/job. It's very helpful and eye-opening.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, I beg you please do not procrastinate. Manage your time wisely and go through the concepts until you understand it completely. This is not something you can easily cram overnight. Even though they offer you recorded online lectures, I strongly recommend you to attend all the lectures in person. You can use the online lectures later in your own private studies as references.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are dead serious about pursuing a Health Sciences major/profession, don't let this class deter you from doing so unless you truly can't stand science! I took this class desiring to become a Physical Therapist but was so discouraged (it is a weeder class) that I chose to switch to Business.

    Course highlights:

I truly learned about the minute processes that occur in the human body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Now unless you certainly can't stand taking science classes, don't let these introductory science classes discourage you from doing what you truly enjoy! (If that certainly is science, then by all means, keep at it!)
