    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was an interesting class. I was a little hesitate about taking the class in college because of the rumors of the difficulty in understanding chemistry. I started the class with much hesitate. I would recommend the class to anyone who have some knowledge of chemistry and who has had a previous chemistry class in high school.

    Course highlights:

The beginning of this course was like a refresher of my high school chemistry classes. Towards the middle and end of the course it began to get a litter tougher but understandable. More information on elements and chemical reactions was learned. This information will prepare me for the next chemistry class which is required for my major.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend attending all classes to really get an understanding from the instructor. I also think you need to review the information the same day of class when the notes are fresh. Be willing to ask questions when needed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The concepts arent too awful! Thompson is incredibly smart and is a decent teacher. His one issue is going into things you dont need to know for the class. The lab reports are what takes most of your time!

    Course highlights:

You learn about kinteics, nuclear chemistry, acid ans base chemistry, and a little bit of organic chemistry at the end.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work really hard on the labs! Going to class also counts towards your grade.
