    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

To me, this class is the epitome of everything that is wrong.

    Course highlights:

Taught through a series of drawn out online modules with one scheduled weekly class meeting, in a lecture hall with 200 other students.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Hammond does one example, then we all leave. It is so difficult! The quizzes are hard, the exams crowdedhard. INSANE WORK BUT NO LEARNING

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great GE-E! Super fun professor who is knowledgeable about the subject. Makes learning about rocks actually entertaining.

    Course highlights:

Class covered rocks and minerals, plate tectonics, and overall earth and animal evolution. Labs were occasionally at the museum of natural history, which was fun, and I had a great TA.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Easy and fun GE for physical sciences. 2 midterms, one project, a lab final, and a final. All pretty easy. Would highly recommend!
