    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course as the course comes as an introduction to the beautiful subject of Physics. The professor is extremely helpful in making the concepts clearer to his students.

    Course highlights:

The first part of the course discusses the Kinematics, including Newton's laws, later it discusses work and energy, rotational motion etc The second half of the course discusses about thermodynamics, where we talk about heat, work, entropy and heat engines etc. As a game major at USC, this second half of the course did not help a lot for my major too, but the first half is very much related to my major, for example projectile motion when a player jumps forward in the game.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The prime advice is to go to the lectures, and take notes. There might often be things that the professor says, which might appear in the exam in some or the other form. Lastly, practice as much as your can, and do all the home works, as they mostly help give you better understanding of the material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Gould was awful. I don't feel like I learned anything in this class. I'm actually good at physics and tried to learn from him, but he made it impossible.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do everything for myself and how to get a B without learning anything.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the class with a different professor, avoid him at all costs.
