    Course Overview:

    I highly recommend this class that discusses policies in the field of Social Work. The Professor keeps the class lectures and discussions interesting and has a way of keep wanting students to come back for more.

    Course highlights:

    Policy in the field of Social Work highlights the way it affects people in the cities or communities that they live in and the outcomes of some individuals because of the injustice that incur out of those policies.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take time to finish the required readings as much as possible and do the weekly coursework.

    Understanding policy practice is beneficial for all social workers. The course is thorough and really gets students involved in their communities.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how my community does business. I learned who is in charge of decision making, and how I can influence decision makers in my community.
