Course Overview:
Relatively doable compared to other business statistics classes at USC. The professor is really nice and helpful. This is a big class, so he doesn't have time to dote on every student. But when you go to the office hours, he's more attentive in teaching you about the materials.
Course highlights:
ANOVA, Regression, Correlation, Probability, Z-statistics and T-statistics.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
Pay attention in class, go to his office hours, attend the discussions, study for the finals since it's cumulative and a lot harder than the midterm.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Business statistic is a very difficult topic to learn and understand. Prof. Rogers makes this fun and as easy as possible. The discussion sections are hands on and you will get a good knowledge of excel. However, the tests are more difficult than what you learn in class, especially the final. Overall a good class.
Course highlights:
I enhanced my learning with excel, and how to apply statistic to my everyday life. As a business major, and future accounting major, I learned how important the foundation of statistic is.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Go to every class, study the slides and go to the discussion sections. In his midterm and final review sections, come prepared and you will do fine!
