Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chem is a difficult class. Overall, science classes are difficult, but the labs add to the difficulty. The labs are fairly strict (especially with the lab director), and the lab reports are very long. Be prepared to spend a while on every assignment, but it is helpful in the long run. Also, if you have taken Chem before, especially AP chem, this will help you, as not everything is gone through in detail in class.

    Course highlights:

Overall, even though you put in a lot of work, you get a lot out as well. You are very prepared to for every given exam, as long as you study hard and keep up with the labs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely, do not slack off. Go to every lecture, and especially go to every lab. Go to office hours if you need and form study groups. This is the best way to stay on top.
