This class was tough.
I enjoyed this course because it was challenging and allowed students who are not that familiar with research to fully understand research methods and practices. As social workers it is important to understand how research is conducted in order to be able to interpret research for EBP's that you may employ with clients. This course focused on being able to interpret research that you have read as well as give you the baseline information for being able to conduct your own research one day.
I learned how to interpret research that is pertinent to an EBP I may want to utilize with a client as well as how research is conducted if I ever want to practice research of my own and publish one day.

Advice for students:
I would encourage students who take this course to read the material ahead of time, to create flashcards and review them often. Many of the research methods and experimental designs are complicated to differentiate and flashcards really helped me to understand which methods went with which design.
