    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

While I thought the material in the class was fascinating, our class specifically would often get off topic and would end up discussing politics or hot button issues. While I did feel it was a safe place, I didn't understand the tie in to the course material. Also, one class was specifically spent learning how to use Twitter, and while I can understand that from a research or policy perspective, if I am going to be focusing on clinical social work, I don't see it as necessary.

    Course highlights:

There was a test on neurobiology which I thought was challenging and it did help me learn. I focused not only on the internal, emotional workings, but also the physical anatomy, which helped me understand the scope of the brain.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write- there are a few papers. Also, participate. I didn't necessarily agree with everyone on the off-topic conversations, but I tried to participate, at least to be an active member of the class.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Nelson was extremely understanding in regards to due dates and truly cared about the material being taught. She only focused on the necessary material and ensured everyone in the class fully understood it. Professor Nelson also made it known that she was there for us if we ever needed anything.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course was actually attending class. Class was always a time for open discussion and thus it was always amazing to see thoughts and information flow so freely.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest quickly reading the material and understanding the concepts behind this. I also recommend reading over assignments to determine which readings you will really need to complete the papers.
