This course gives you a solid understanding of how financial crises occur, and what led to them in the first place.
The most interesting thing that one discovers in this course is economy on a grand scale. You get a thorough understanding of the effects of economic policies. Probably the best thing is that you can evaluate politicians proposed economic plans, and get a good idea of the plans will work or not.

Economics classes are not like regular classes where you can memorize material. Economic concepts have a lot of moving parts and simply memorizing definitions will not even get you a passing grade. However, for Econ Majors, this course is definitely one to take.
