    Projects are really good and would help in the industry .

    Course highlights:

    Implemented FTP using TCP/ UDP - Socket programming

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Brush up on C programming . Must do to ace projects .

    The course on the whole can be a little more organised. The TA and the professor can be a little more proactive in answering questions to the point.

    Course highlights:

    Good assignments but very disorganized.

    Great course to build knowledge foundation for students who are interested in networking or telecommunication.

    Course highlights:

    OSI model and protocols used in internet : Ethernet, 802.11, DHCP, ARP, DNS, IP, TCP, UDP, Socket programming.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read textbook to clear up the topics you don't fully understand from lecture notes or slides.
