    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course may be enjoyable to anyone interested in gender studies, however I took it for an elective requirement and found that it was much more work than I expected.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights was being able to hear several different opinions about controversial topics such as abortion and gender identification.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Only take this course if you are truly interested in gender studies because it requires a lot of reading and writing.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it introduces interesting and relevant topics to current issues pertinent to our generation

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning different forms of identification. For example, gender and sex mean something different for each person. The sex is the biological identity one is born with such as "male" or "female." But these categories may not correlate with a person's gender identity. Whereas sex is generally divided into two categories, gender expression ranges from boy and girl, to "Two Spirited" and Transgender.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete all the reading assigned. It is very helpful in understanding different perspectives, as well as having background for key terms popping up in the course.
