Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Yes, this class is hard, it's also a CI class. However, this class really allows you to think of ethical conflicts on both sides of the argument. Going into this class I thought I had firm beliefs in how to listen to patients versus your career position versus hospital policy etc, but there are many other sides to these dilemmas that I never thought about. This class really allowed me to look at many different views of different people and patients. The class also allowed me to focus on the principles of ethics without having o be constantly worried about large assignments. Yes there were quizzes and papers and presentations, but it wasn't like you had to remember crazy details about lecture or anything; the class allowed you to learn.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the class discussions during lecture. It wasn't just the professor lecturing at us, but inviting us to discuss the ethical considerations and principles during the class time. It was so helpful to hear not only his point of view, and the points of views he was teaching, but to also listen to the class participating. It allowed me to look at different situations that I may experience in the health care field differently.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure and read the chapters for the quizzes. Also, although the quizzes are very hard and seem ridiculous, they are very helpful for the class discussions and assignments. Also, they aren't worth very much of your grade, so don't fret!
