Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend anyone to take this course because it helps anyone who is s going into social work. For those who aren't, it would still benefit them to take this course because it teaches real life lessons and gives us a greater look on society.

    Course highlights:

What I learned from this course is the relationship between the individual and society. Racial divide within the society and how society interacts with each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for the quizzes, because you will have some. The exams are easy, 50 questions but it helps to review the material throughout the semester so you can do well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a good introduction to Sociology. It was a relatively simple class with few out of class assignments, and no busy work. It fulfills category seven of the general education requirements. It's primarily lecture based though my professor was good about breaking it up with a video, so it didn't get monotonous.

    Course highlights:

At least as far as I remember. There are three exams in the course. The first one is one is just on a base level sociology stuff. The second in on deviance, and theories of deviance. The third is the final exam and was on race and the impact of race on society. The final isn't cumulative.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up for class. It is a relatively easy course as long as you keep going to class, and are there for discussions. Do the reading, the readings are long, but you need to do them.
