    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you know the material, the class is very easy. If you do not know the material the professor will not move on until every student understands.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to look at math problems in a different way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be willing to open your mind to different ways of thinking.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it even if you don't have to take it for your major. It is important that you take every math class available at your school. While math can be at times difficult, it is important that you get in the hang of it now.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you can't go into a test without studying. While yes your not allowed to use note on test, it is very important that you use your time wisely when taking your time and studying for that test because it could mean the difference between you passing and failing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take time when going over information. Make practice questions that you think will be on the test. Study, Study, Study whether it be for a test or your homework.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am a music major and that doesn't involve a lot of math. Math is definitely not my strong point but this course was more on the easier side. The course is over basic algebra and other mathematical information and is required for majors that aren't going into anything that involves math. If you are dedicated and stay on track with homework assignments, you will do great in the course.

    Course highlights:

I liked how my professor would sit down with me and further explain formulas or problems that I didn't fully understand. She would make sure I left the classroom unconfused and I thought that was really cool. Some of the stuff you see in this course are things you saw in freshman/sophomore year in high school and it was good to relearn all of that information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students is to stay on track with your homework. If you do your homework, do well on your daily quizzes and study a little for your tests, you will do just fine in the course! Make sure that if you don't understand something, ask your professor and they will help you understand.
