Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Karen Myhr teaches this class by aiming the student groups into a direction and letting them learn for themselves. However, when the students have any questions or are moving off course, she interjects and gives precise aid to get the class back on track. Overall, she is a great teacher and her methods increase retention of the material.

    Course highlights:

Through this course we did the organ systems from a comparative physiological point of view. Additionally, we learned more detailed ways of analyzing and organizing scientific papers. Term papers were the watered down version of a dissertation, which despite sounding daunting was actually quite straightforward, given you paid attention in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're going to take this class, be prepared to think. This class is not just cramming information into your head, you need to deduce reasons behind functions and interpret scientific data.
