Course Overview:
She is an amazing professor, who teaches very well and goes at a pace that is workable for all her student. Not much homework is given other than online work, which can sometime be tough but she will help in any way she can. The entire class is note taking on the section to prepare of test.
Course highlights:
I gained many math skill which high school did not teach me, even though i had already taken algebra before. High recommended even if algebra was already taken. I took it because my advisor recommanded it to me and boy he was right. I'm glad i took it and do not regret a second of it.

Advice for students:
Just d the online homework and the one homework of few problem she gives once a week which student have to hand it and just study the notes till you understand it and the course should be a walk in the park that went well.

Course Overview:
I recommend this course because we work in groups all the time and I believe it is the best way to fully understand a subject. This course has taught me many strategies and I am grateful for it.
Course highlights:
I am not finished with course yet but as I mentioned before I really like the working in groups aspect of the class. I learned that collaborative learning is the best thing for me and it should be used in every classroom.

Advice for students:
The advice that I have to give is that must be on top of your game while in this class. It moves at a fast pace and there is homework every day. All the extra work is worth it because then you fully understand how to do problems on tests. Studying is important. Review the work after every class period so you can retain that information.

It's a gen Ed course so it's required, but it starts out really easy and then the pace starts going too fast. However if you go to office hours and get help when you need it it should try be a problem.

The mathematical concepts are ones that will be useful in all career paths

Go to office hours, if your teacher and you don't get along, find any other teacher in the FAB building that can help with your math questions.
