Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was required for me, but If you have to or are even interested in the human brain, Derek is the professor to go though this course with, as he is available, down to earth, and is able to break down complex ideas into simplistic, which helped me to succeed.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human brain and behavior associated with its various components. From motor and sensory pathways to the ways different stimulants and depressants either activate or depress chemical reactions, this course was also rich in neuroanatomy content.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn to ask questions, and be curious; it really assists in grasping concepts. The brain is the most complex component in the human body, thus the material is complex as well. Also, it takes more than flash cards to get an "A" in the course, so it's recommended to look up supplementary information on the internet, such as looking at YouTube videos to see how others explain the same ideas.
