    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am indifferent about the Philosophy 1010 course because I took it to meet a requirement, but I believe Professor Burn made the class more enjoyable than I thought a philosophy class would be.

    Course highlights:

Professor Burn made fun connections to real life situations to help understand different topics in philosophy. The course makes you question where your own internal thoughts come from.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention to the different philosophers and what they believe, it may be confusing the rest of the course if you don't understand their main idea.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend him because he is a really nice person. He tries to make everything as clear as possible and really wants the students to do well. I would not recommend this because philosophy is really just a hard class and you really have to be dedicated to it.

    Course highlights:

I learned why some philosophers do not believe in God. I also learn that we only know things because people tell us we know them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study notes every single night.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course highly! I learnt a lot of material, and there was barely any course work. Professor Drew gives reasonable amounts of homework, and as long as you take notes during class and study them, you will score great on tests.

    Course highlights:

I would say the highlight of the course was the material learnt and the interesting examples and stories discussed in class. I learnt all about the philosophy of religion, of the mind, political philosophy and ethics. The topics about the existence of God and political philosophy were of particular interest to me.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take lots of notes during lectures. Do the homework on time, and be sure to review in class notes before exams.
