Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Ofen is funny, charismatic, and really knows what she's talking about. You can always count on her to explain what might seem like even the dumbest or most obscure question.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything I needed to know as an introductory psychology major. My favorite part of this course was how well Dr. Ofen communicated with the TAs who instructed the lab sections. It never felt like you were taking two separate classes. Dr. Ofen made sure that she knew exactly what was going on in our labs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be scared to be in a huge lecture class. If you put in the effort to make yourself noticed by Dr. Ofen and your TA it can be very beneficial. Also go to the study sessions. They're the single most helpful part of the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for anyone who is interested in psychology and how the mind works with the body as we develop. Dr. Fischer is a really good instructor, and he makes it interesting. There is also a lot of practice for the course material, so he tries to help the students succeed. The discussion session is very helpful with the course as well. The course is really interesting, and there is a lot of help so it's easy to pass if you are active with studying.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the discussion session because there were activities that helped understand the material. As far as the material, I learned about how the brain control majority of the functions in our body and how damage to certain parts have dramatic effects on certain everyday functions that are taken for granted.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you attend class and read the book for better understanding. Also, make sure you do the assignments. The assignments really help with understanding the course material. It's a lot of information, so just going to class won't help you pass.
