    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Kefentse's class was very interesting to say the least! In order to successfully pass this course, you must keep an open book and an open mind! Do not think that you will get by without actually doing the assigned readings. Not only will you do poorly, but he will chew up up and spit you out if you come to class unprepared to participate in discussions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the fresh information that I acquired about the origins of the African American culture, and how much of the culture has it's origins in Africa. We learned about the different African groups, and how each influenced their African American ascendents.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give students considering this course would be to come to every class, and come prepared to talk and to listen. Do not expect a traditional "Western" world class, as Dr. Kefenste does not run his class as such. You may find yourself lost in the beginning, but if you stick with it you will become more comfortable with the class structure
