    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course offered a great deal of insight to an intro of feminism and women's history

    Course highlights:

Social issues regarding women world wide, inter-sectional feminism, common misconceptions about feminism, the women's movement and experience in the US.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Simply stay on top of readings and assignments. The course was more fun than challenging and it was an eyeopener.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I learned so much about gender and sexuality that I had never thought of before. It opened my mind to consider things about gender and sexuality that are important and valid to know. There is so much more to gender and sexuality than our own view of it. Professor Hock was also insightful and enthusiastic about the course. She was one of the best professors I have ever had.

    Course highlights:

I learned how gender is developed. I learned how gender is portrayed in a variety of pieces of literature. I learned that many people go through problems in their lives solely because of their gender or sexuality. I am a very open minded person, and this class still opened my mind to a lot of things I had not considered before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You do need to do the required reading in this class. However, the reading is of novels and plays. They are all interesting and enjoyable. They are not readings you will fall asleep to.
