Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a greatly informative course that introduces to you concepts and basic ideas that will be discussed in greater detail in higher level classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about cellular respiration in excruciating detail! It's such an important process in our bodies and learning it early on really prepares you for course such as human anatomy and physiology, as well as cell biology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This goes for all biology course actually: RELISTEN TO ALL LECTURES! And especially if the professor recommends it or emphasizes it, actually take time to read the book.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are a BIO major or in any related field, I recommend taking her class because she does provide a lot of information. However, her course is VERY difficult. She makes you work for a good grade so don't stay behind.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of material in her class, overall 16 chapters

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Print the powerpoint slides to takes notes on and always relisten to the lectures. If you have any doubt, go to her office hours!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She loves her powerpoints, and if you pay attention in class you can easily pass the class with a good grade. Also she uses Echo, a system which allows you to hear the lecture if you aren't there are want to review something. She looks at Bio paying attention to detail which helps you a lot in future classes.

    Course highlights:

Having Echo was very useful in the class, this class was also provided a supplemental instructor which can help you a lot in preparing you for your exams.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the lectures! Don't skip class and I would recommend taking the shorter class and have class 3 days a week instead of taking the long class for two days. It helps to digest what has been taught.
