    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches you so many concepts and new ways to look at chemistry. It is a very heavy workload though, and difficult material as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class, was of course, the extra credit. I learned that you need to take advantage of every point you can get. And study, a lot. Do many practice problems.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Dont study for the exam the day before. You need a couple days to go through all the lectures, the practice exams and also old exams you may have done bad on.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Barber is an excellent professor. Although the course load looks frightening and can sometimes overlap with other class' priorities, if you do well with time management, this is a perfect course for you. The homework isn't meant to torture you, it's meant to help you succeed. Get used to it!

    Course highlights:

Other than the course material, I benefited much from this class. From learning time-management skills to knowing what it takes to get A's in a tough class. Put in the work and you will succeed.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Dedicate plenty of time for ALEKS. Learn the material. Write it all down. Use it when completing knowledge checks to help get higher % mastery which in turn is extra credit.
