Pretty easy, overall.
I would definitely recommend taking this course for two reasons. The first reason is that the marketing book consists of many good beneficial information which will give the student an idea of what is marketing. The second reason is that the teacher does a great job going through every detail and explaining the concepts to students.
I learned the general definition of what marketing is, the marketing strategy, the four Ps: price, place, promotion, product. I also learned the marketing plan and steps of planning, implementing and controlling those steps into creating a goal for a specific product.

I would advise the students to read the book and take notes in class. In addition students need to read examples of each concept because the tests are scenario based.
