    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very difficult course but this professor in particular is very interested in the success of her students. She posts extra practice, credit, and study guides to help with the tests.

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to distinguish different reactions and learn what chemicals react well or not so well with certain acids and bases. The highlight of this course is chapter 20 and 21 on lipids and carbohydrates. They were the most interesting and relevant to daily life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the practice problems and actually make the study guides of reactions and mechanisms. If you don't do anything for this class you will fail. Attending the learning community is the best thing to do because she will put the exact questions you go over in class on the exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not as bad as it seems, If you did well in orgo 1 you should have all the study skills you need to do well in this class

    Course highlights:

There were so many reactions, just make sure you keep up with it and keep a reaction/mechanism binder.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you're studying frequently so you don't have to cram at the last minute because most of the time there's so much material you need to know for the exam it can't be done last minute. if you have time look over your notes before class and/or the chapter in the book it'll help with keeping up with the lecture. Do smart work and go to tutoring.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Don't do homework problems. Peer mentor reviews are best.

    Course highlights:

I liked that you had the option to re-watch lectures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice problems but not the ones from the book. They are way harder than anything you would ever see on an exam so you're wasting your time and getting more confused.
