Performance is All Around Us!
Every type of performance has the same characteristics to help define it as such:
Actor (A person who does something)
Action (What goes the actor does)
Naumachiae (my personal favorite!) are recreated famous naval battles. They
would fill coliseums with water and bring in real boats. Slaves would fight to the
death, and occasionally the wrong side would win the battle!
