Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was AMAZING! There is a lot of discussion about modern ethical issues like abortion, war, class inequality, gender inequality, etc. All hot topics! The professor facilitates conversation in a very productive manner. Everyone is given the opportunity to speak, thus creating a safe place for everyone to speak their own opinion. One of the best classes I've ever taken. Got over my fear of public speaking too.

    Course highlights:

The professor always related things we were learning to modern day issues. Each principle had at least 3 examples which made everything relatively easy to learn. I enjoyed this class a lot because it made philosophy something that everyone could learn instead of being a intellectual elite course of study.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

DON'T BE AFRAID TO SPEAK YOUR MIND! You have good ideas! Try them out! Worst that can happen is that they get shut down, and then we discuss them during class and you leave with a better understanding of your opinions. Also, don't be afraid to be wrong. If you come in with one idea, and leave with another, it's okay! You're learning and growing!
