Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In order to be a biomedical engineer, you must know the nature of the system you are designing technology for. This class covers the entire human body and provides the proper background for understanding the basis of modern technology for medicine.

    Course highlights:

I learned in detail about the function of the cardiovascular system, the renal system, the lungs, and the brain. Moreover, this course goes in depth about the peripheral and central nervous systems, which means understanding the structure and function of neurons, synapses, and regular versus irregular patterns of all systems.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes in class, and then review them after class. When it comes to exam time, review all of the study guide questions in the back of each section and chapter to ensure you understand all material presented.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone who is interested in understanding how engineering can be applied to human physiology.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was getting to work on a research paper in the end. We were allowed to pick from a list of topics and then had to research and present that topic for a good fraction of our grade.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention in class, take notes, ask questions.
